OBP Key Sequences
Some special key sequences can be used to run OBP commands after the
system is powered on and before the keyboard flashes the second time.
These sequences can come in handy if the NVRAM becomes corrupted.
(Note that on modern Sun keyboards, the "L1" key is labelled "Stop.")
- L1-f: Invokes FORTH command mode on the serial port before
the hardware is probed.
fexit continues the initialization.
- L1-n: Resets NVRAM contents to the default.
- L1-d: Sets the
diag-switch? to true for this
boot only.
- L1: Runs POST in
INIT mode, regardless of
security settings.
