Our
Mission:
The
Vegetarian Club at Princeton University hopes to raise awareness
on campus about what it means to be a vegetarian while providing
resources for current vegetarians and encouraging healthy lifestyles
for all students on campus.
The
club is open to ALL students, faculty, and staff - anyone wanting
to know more about vegetarianism.
Our
Plan:
-
Provide newsletters
with news about vegetarianism, vegetarian recipes, jokes, articles,
stories, etc.
-
Campaign for
more vegetarian options in the dining halls and study breaks
-
Explore and
recommend vegetarian options off-campus, in nearby restaurants and
groceries.
-
Share recipes,
scientific and nutrition news
-
Host open discussions
about the pros/cons of being vegetarian.
-
Host special
events, such as inviting a Vegetarian chef on campus, as well as
speakers, open to the campus.
