About the Team
Princeton Women's Club Soccer provides a competitive, intercollegiate (and
of course, FUN!!) team that plays year round. We are a member of NIRSA
Region 1. Our fall season is our most competitive season, beginning with
tryouts the second week of September. All Princeton University students
are welcome to tryout, although at least high school Varsity experience is
recommended. Practices are held twice a week, and we play intercollegiate
games every weekend, culminating with the NIRSA National Tournament in
mid-November. Some of the highlights of each season are the Princeton
Invitational Tournament, which usually draws around ten teams, and the
Regional Tournament.
We also offer an indoor winter season and spring season which are open to all
who are interested. This is a great opportunity to get to know the team, and improves
your chances of making the team in the fall. Indoor practices are twice a week,
generally at 11 pm. Spring practices are also held twice a week, with a more limited
intercollegiate schedule on weekends. Games begin after spring break and run through
the end of April.
