Principle Research Interests: Many tropical birds have high survival rates, but small clutch sizes. Many temperate birds, however, have lower survival rates, but have much larger clutches than tropical birds. I am investigating the relationships between these life history trends and immunological competence in one bird species that occurs at both tropical and temperate latitudes, the House Sparrow (Passer domesticus).
