Ladies Night 2003

On January 17, 2003, the Wildcats, Tigerlillies, and Tigressions came together in a celebration of all-female a capella that benefited Womanspace, a local women's shelter. This is an annual performance that was fun as always. Click on any picture for the full-size image. This page will be getting story updates in addition to the pictures, so check back soon.

This was the poster for the performance. I think we decided that the Wildcat was supposed to be the morose-looking one on the right. (:
Despite the looks of these pictures, we did actually perform. It's just that I could only take pictures before and after we sang. Hopefully someone will give me performance pictures to put in, but for now, here's all the prep.

Here Jessie watches Sapana help Naomi with he makeup...or something.
Jen C shows off her awesome purple coat she got in Paris, where we toured this fall. See those pictures here.
Jessie makes sure her eyeliner is perfect.
Joanna gives the camera a wink.
Naomi, Jessie, and Sapana smile, ready to perform. They're always perfectly serious...
...or maybe not so much. (: Now they're really ready.
Sap looks nice (and left) without trying. Hey Sap!
Now she's looking. (:
Sapanan, Tesla, and Jen C all happy to be here.
Sap is very silly. And sideways.
The Jens: Jenness "Nessie" "Crawdaddy" Crawford and Jennifer "Niffer" "Silly Face" Labrecque, with Joy in the background
Tesla's ultra-hot purple tights.
All ready to go! Front row (L to R): Kate, Tesla, Elena, Naomi, Sapana. Back row: Jen C, Jessie, Adele, Jen L, Joy. Smack in the middle by herself (and yet not at all alone), Joanna.
We were on first, so we ended up with a lot of down time while the Lils and Gressions performed. Here Jessie (front) and Jen Labrecque do interpretive dance to the other groups' songs as we wait to sing Old Nass at the end of the whole performance.
