Fall 2009 Auditions
Auditions will be held Sunday, September 20th to Wednesday September 23rd at 2 Dickinson Street in the music room/lounge in the basement. Callbacks will be Thursday September 24th. Sign up for a 15 minute audition slot on our board in Woolworth or via e-mail. Or come to our Open House, Saturday September 19 from 10pm-12am, 2 Dickinson St.
The Basics
The Wildcats invite freshmen and sophomore women to audition for us at the beginning of each semester. Sign up to audition at the Activities Fair or our Open House or look for the Wildcat bulletin board in Woolworth. Whether you've been in choirs and rock bands all your life or have only sung in the shower, we'd love to hear you!
Callbacks and Beyond
If we like what we hear in your audition and think you might sound really good with the group, we'll come by your room the evening of your audition to invite you to a 2-hour callbacks session. You'll get more information when the time comes, but basically the callback gives us a chance to hear how you blend with the whole group. It's also a fun time to hang out and do some great singing, so be prepared to relax and have fun being a Wildcat for a day!
If we decide to ask you to join the group, welcome! If this isn't your semester, don't give up! It took many of us a couple tries to show the group that we had what it takes to be Wildcats. We invite you to come back and try out again - c'mon, it can't hurt, and it can be really fun.
