  1. We saw 'The Postman' on 1997 December 19 as SFMGT #4, but we deemed this movie so bad that I chose to not count it among the "official" SFMGTs. 'Sphere' later became SFMGT #4.
  2. I originally selected 'Hollow Man' as SFMGT #16 and suggested 'Space Cowboys' as an alternative. Most of the interested attendees preferred to see 'Space Cowboys', so it became SFMGT #16.
  3. 'Evolution' was originally scheduled to be SFMGT #19 on 2001 June 8, but I had to cancel that outing on short notice due to circumstances beyond my control, so 'A.I. Artificial Intelligence' became SFMGT #19.
  4. I originally announced 'Transformers' as SFMGT #76 for 2007 July 2, but those interested could not attend, so 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' became SFMGT #76.
  5. 'District 9' would have been SFMGT #101, but I was away on its release date and did not get a good opportunity to see it later as an SFMGT.
  6. 'Clash of the Titans' would have been SFMGT #107, but I was away on its release date and later opportunities to see it as an SFMGT did not work out for those few who were interested.
  7. I originally announced 'Inception' as SFMGT #110, but changed the movie to 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice' due to different relative interest.
