Photon Nudging

"Photon nudging" is a new way of controlling and navigating self-propelled miniature swimmers in solution. This is achieved by manipulating the nanoscale fluidic properties around the swimmer and making use of the omnipresent thermal fluctuations. We continue to develop the technology and at the same time investigate the underlying physics, the engineering aspects, as well the applications in physical biology.

Development and Application

We are currently further developing this technology and at the same time expanding its application scope. More to come.
