- Rule 1: The registration is mandatory to participate. However, if anyone feels like participating without registering, he/she cannot be rejected. It is requested that anyone interested in participating should try to let the organizer know.
- Rule 2: Anyone can participate either as an individual or as a team.
- Rule 3: Any participants should be somehow loosely related to Sayre Hall, GFDL or the AOS Program to participate.
- Rule 4: All items must match the inspirational theme. The chefs must be able to argue convincingly how their items fit the theme.
- Rule 5: The secret ingredient must be used in the preparation of any item.
- Rule 6: The entries will be evaluated by anyone who wants to evaluate them.
- Rule 7: The evaluation criteria are at the discretion of the organizer.
- Rule 8: The evaluation criteria can be modified by any testers or participants.
- Rule 9: The winner shall receive a prize.
- Rule 10: The theme, secret ingredient, date of the contest and prize shall be chosen by the organizer.
- Rule 11: The organizer is the winner of the previous contest.
- Rule 12: The rules can be changed at anytime and interpreted in many different ways depending on mood, weather and other unpredictable events.
