Measurement notes:
- Date performed: 26 June 2013
- Nominal measurement distance: 1.6 meters
- Transducer type: electrostatic; transmission-line dynamic
- Exponential sine sweep settings:
- Frequency range: 1 Hz to 22 kHz
- Duration: 5 seconds
- Impulse response window settings:
- Type: Tukey (cosine fade-in, flat, cosine fade-out)
- Duration: (0.5, 1, 0.5) msec
- Frequency resolution: 500 Hz
- Spectral smoothing: 1/24th octave
- Directivity index averaging range: 500 Hz to 20 kHz
- Alignment: The microphone was aligned with the center of the electrostatic panel and the axis of rotation passed through the center of the panel enclosure.
- Additional notes: The acoustic foam used in these measurements was glued to a custom back-wave absorber (BWA) made by Sanders Sound Systems. See these measurements for more details on the BWA.
