Call for Applications!
Open to student choreographers in any genre of dance. Selected students will receive one-on-one mentorship with a member of the Program in Dance faculty and the opportunity to perform their work in late April in the Patricia and Ward Hagan '48 Dance Studio at 185 Nassau Street. Students must commit to a minimum of 6 mentorship sessions between February 25 and April 23, plus technical rehearsals April 21 - 23 and performances on April 24 and 25, 2014.
Applicants must demonstrate a serious interest in choreography and be able to submit works by video for consideration. Mentorship will be awarded based on quality of previous work and choreographic potential.
To apply: send a letter of interest by Monday, February 10 to Aynsley Vandenbroucke at firstname.lastname@example.org. In your letter, state why you are interested in the program; discuss your choreographic experience; detail how you would challenge yourself during the mentorship process; and describe your goals. Include links to samples of your choreography.
