Loo Named Fellow of the American Physical Society

Yueh-Lin (Lynn) Loo, Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering and Deputy Director of the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment, was recently named a Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS).  Each year, newly-elected APS Fellows number no more than ½% of APS membership.  Loo, who was recommended for Fellowship by the APS Division of Polymer Physics (DPOLY), was recognized “for elucidating the relationships between structure and function in conducting polymers and organic semiconductors, and for applying this understanding to enhance conductor, transistor, and photovoltaic device performance.”  Loo will be honored on March 19, 2013, at the DPOLY Business Meeting held as part of the APS March Meeting in Baltimore, MD.
