A group of students led by Maria Garlock, an assistant professor of civil and environmental engineering at Princeton, has spent the past three summers building models and studying how the Spanish-born Candela blended art and engineering.
A team from 3 different institutions was awarded a NASA University Research Center (URC) grant, entitled: "WATERSCAPES: Science of Coupled Aquatic Processes in Ecosystems from Space". Professor Ignacio Rodriguez-Iturbe is the Co-Principal Investigator from Princeton University.
CEE graduate student, Luke MacDonald, recently traveled to India to work on developing a sustainable engineering solution that has measurable health impact for the fluorosis epidemic in India , and developing policy mechanisms to improve global provision of clean water and sanitation.
