David Boyd is co-editor of Inventory, a translation journal from Princeton University. He has translated stories by Masatsugu Ono, Hiroko Oyamada and Genichiro Takahashi, among others. His translation of Hideo Furukawa¿s Slow Boat won the 2017-18 Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission Prize for the Translation of Japanese Literature.
