Summer Film Series: Desperately Seeking Susan (1985)

This year’s selection of outdoor film screenings features romantic comedies set in New York City, inspired by the exhibition Helen Frankenthaler Prints: Seven Types of Ambiguity and the artist’s experience living and working in the city. All films begin at sundown. In the event of rain, this film will be shown at 8:00 p.m. in 106 McCormick Hall.

A bored suburban housewife, seeking escape from her life, suffers amnesia after an accident, wakes up, and is mistaken for a free-spirited New York City drifter named Susan. Starring Madonna and Rosanna Arquette.
