Hosted by Princeton Entrepreneurship Council with support from the Association of Black Princeton Alumni and Princeton Alumni Angels, this panel will highlight the work of Black impact investors in the Princeton community, and to discuss the role that impact investing has in investing in and collaborating with entrepreneurs who are leading the way towards mission-driven solutions for our society.

Entrepreneurs and organizations focused on efforts that lead to systemic change currently navigate challenges to their effectiveness; the current public health emergency, economic crisis, and racial reckoning come together to illuminate the need for nimble solutions. Impact investors can play a critical role in supporting and resourcing impact-driven work, especially as it takes place amidst a changing world impacted by a pandemic. Panelists will discuss how impact investors can be critical allies, thought partners and supporters to Black and other underrepresented founders leading vital, socially conscious work that acknowledges lived experience as expertise, and drives a double bottom line / impact.
