Polin: Child of Possessions — Reading of a new play by Juliette Carbonnier '24
Reading of a new play by Princeton alumna Juliette Carbonnier ’24 written during a Martin A. Dale ’53 Fellowship. When Polin’s grandmother, Frances (a former star of Yiddish stages from Poland to New York), is suddenly struck with an unbearable sadness, Polin worries that she will inherit her grandmother’s melancholic sickness. In the hopes of escaping her grandmother’s fate, Polin journeys to Frances’ homeland to uncover the truth about her family. Open to public; free tickets required through University Ticketing.
