Official Passport Princeton Detailed Rules

This initiative is new and involves coordination of a number of different parts and organizations. By taking part in Passport Princeton, you are agreeing to the following rules:

Basic Rules and Procedures

1. Get a passport: Project Princeton passports will be distributed at a 100-level table in Frist at a time TBA. After this time, you can pick one up from the USG office in Frist 204. To be mailed a passport, email grow@princeton.edu with your name and Frist mailbox number.
In order to be eligible for the prize drawing, you must have a “Passport Princeton” passport filled out with event titles, dates, and stickers, and the information page in the back. No other documentation will be accepted.

2. Attend events: Use the sample list in the passports and visit the Passport Princeton website: www.princeton.edu/grow/passport to see all the qualifying events that will give you stickers in the passport. Fill out the event name and date section of your passport yourself in pen.

3. Get stickers: At the event, find the person giving out the Passport Princeton stickers. Have them place it in the booklet next to where you wrote in the event title.
For each single entry in the drawing, you must attend and document one event in each of the four categories: Politics & World Affairs; Theater, Music, & Dance Performances; Diversity “Outside the Box” Events; and Grab Bag.

4. Get more: If you need more passports, you can pick them up as detailed in step 1. There is no limit on the number of passports per student.

5. Turn in your passport(s) by 8 p.m. on May 4 to the box in the USG office in Frist 204 or in 313 West College in order to qualify.
NO LATE ENTRIES will be accepted.

Competition Fairness

1. The student groups who contract with Passport Princeton to have their events included in the initiative are responsible for giving stickers out to attendees. They are instructed to define and apply the standards for receiving a sticker at their event and to do so fairly.

2. If you observe a violation of standard and fair stickering, you can email grow@princeton.edu to report it, providing the event’s name, date, time, location, and sponsoring organization as well as details about the violation. The claim will be reviewed by the project administrator, who will work with the student organization in charge to determine its veracity and how best to mediate the situation.

3. This mediation process does not guarantee any result in your favor. Dean Dunne will have the final say in the event of serious conflicts.

4. By taking part in Passport Princeton, you are agreeing to accept whatever decision is made by the project administrator and Dean Dunne.

Prize Drawing Specifications

1. As noted above, only completely filled entries with one in each category will count toward a single entry in the drawing. Students may “enter” as many times as they can qualify for.

2. ODUS and the project administrator will hold the drawing after all the entries have been processed and validated. The winner will be immediately notified by email.

3. About the prize: The person drawn from all the entries will win either
