Undergraduate Honor Committee

Welcome to the online home of Princeton’s Honor Code.

As one of the oldest Honor Codes in the country, the Code at Princeton is a revered tradition that is nevertheless continually updated and refreshed by new ideas. Begun in 1893 by a group of students, it is a center of academic integrity and contributes to a feeling of trust that pervades the campus.

On this website, you’ll find a copy of the current Constitution, as well as a list of this year’s members and current procedures. At Princeton, all undergraduate written examinations, tests, and quizzes that take place in class are conducted under the Honor Code. All potential violations of the Honor Code are the concern of the Undergraduate Honor Committee.

I hope that whatever information you are seeking, this website will help you in your search. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
