  • Annual Benefits Open Enrollment
    • Faculty & Staff

      When you are first hired or become a benefits-eligible employee, you have 31 days to enroll in Princeton’s benefit plans. After this initial enrollment period, you are permitted to change your benefits only when your situation changes with a qualifying status event or during the University’s Annual Benefits Open Enrollment period. Changes made during the Open Enrollment period will take effect on January 1 of the following year.

      Open enrollment for 2019 for faculty and staff began on Monday, October 15, and ended on Friday, November 9, 2018. The Main Campus Benefits Fair will took place on October 24 at Frist Campus Center, Multipurpose Rooms A and B, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The PPPL Benefits Fair tookplace on October 25 at the Lyman Spitzer Building, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

    • Retirees

      When you retire, you have 31 days to enroll in Princeton’s benefit plans.       Understanding Depression & Anxiety
      Frist Campus Center, MPR A, 10 am - 11 am

      Is what I feel simply the blues or something more? What are the signs of depression and how is it treated? Is depression different than anxiety? How can I manage my anxiety? Someone I love seems depressed or anxious, how can I help? Answers to these question are the focus on this seminar. Contributing factors such as lifestyle, nutrition, exercise, and phase of life will be reviewed.

      Finding Happiness by Increasing Your Emotional Well-being
      Frist Campus, MPR A, 10 am - 11 am

      You may be surprised to learn that happiness can be learned. While research suggests that some people are by nature happier than others, studies confirm that people can learn skills to improve their overall satisfaction with life. In this seminar, participants will learn how to be happier. The seminar will help participants asses their emotional well-being; cultivate a positive climate at work work and at home; show gratitude; use positive, balance self-talk; and focus on those aspects of life that they can control.

      Up to eight face-to-face counseling sessions per issue
