Morenike Sylla, also known as Kay, joined the HR Client Services team in 2014. In her role as senior Human Resources manager, she collaborates with the associate director of client services, senior Human Resources managers, and cross-functional team to strategically partner with employees and managers in academic and administrative departments to provide consultative guidance regarding HR policies and administration, employee relations and change management.
Prior to joining Princeton, Kay was a Human Resources consultant at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, and previously a Human Resources manager at Dietrich Metal Framing in Boonton, NJ. She has 10 years of professional experience in manufacturing and higher education. Kay’s areas of expertise include compensation, classification, benefits administration, employee relations, talent acquisition, talent management, risk management, and change management.
Kay earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from Ball State University and master’s degree in Human Resource management (MHRM) from Rutgers University. She obtained and maintains her professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and NJ College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (NJ CUPA-HR).
Away from Princeton, Kay loves to travel, play volleyball, watch football and spend time with family and friends.
