Forum to address alcohol use on campus, Dec. 4
Posted December 3, 2002; 07:25 p.m.
Students and administrators will discuss alcohol use on campus in a forum called "What Steps Can We Take this Year to Improve the Social Scene on Campus?" at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at the Frist Campus Center in the lounge area near Cafe Vivian.
The forum is sponsored by the Undergraduate Student Government and the Alcohol Coalition, a group of administrators, students and community members that focuses on raising awareness about the risks of drinking. The coalition was formed earlier this year as part of the University's ongoing efforts to promote responsible alcohol use on campus.
Panelists will include representatives from several areas of campus, including athletics, student government, the Inter-Club Council and public safety.
