public safety officials and township police are actively investigating graffiti containing a hateful message directed at African-Americans and Jews. The message was discovered in a seldom-used storeroom in a University office building at 120 Alexander St.
The University reported the graffiti to township police as soon as it was discovered Wednesday afternoon, and police are investigating it as a bias incident. The University has strong policies relating to racial and ethnic harassment, and officials stressed that if any member of the University community is found to be involved, that person will be disciplined.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Public Safety at 609-258-3134.
