Access road re-opens, May 28

The access road between parking lot 20 and Washington Road is scheduled to be partially re-opened on Tuesday, May 28.

The road has been closed for the past year due to the site work at the Carl Icahn Laboratory, which will house the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics. The road will be open to one-way traffic exiting the campus from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The opening of the road is intended to assist traffic leaving the campus during the evening rush hour. The road cannot be opened at other times due to the ongoing construction activities on the site.

The Office of Physical Planning anticipates that the road will be permanently open to two-way traffic later in the fall semester.
