'Indigenous People's Day' event set for Oct. 13

Native Americans at Princeton will sponsor "Indigenous People's Day 2003: Native Voices Past, Present and Future," on Monday, Oct. 13.
The event will include a dinner discussion at 6:30 p.m. at the International Center in Frist Campus Center. Anyone wishing to attend the dinner, which is open to the University community, should contact Christopher Francis by 5 p.m.
The dinner will be followed at 8 p.m. by readings of Native American poetry, testimonies and stories, as well as a performance by the drum group Silvercloud, in Cafe Vivian.
The event is co-sponsored by the Frist Campus Center, the Undergraduate Student Government Projects Board, the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students and the Carl Fields Center for Equality and Cultural Understanding.
