Applications for Civil Rights Awareness Trip due Sept. 26

Dialogue@Princeton , a diversity initiative established last year, is accepting applications by Friday, Sept. 26, for its first Civil Rights Awareness Trip, which will cover several key areas of the civil rights movement of the 1940s through 1960s.

The trip, co-sponsored by the Pace Center for Community Service , is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 24, through Saturday, Nov. 1, during fall break. It will include visits to Greensboro, N.C.; Selma, Montgomery and Birmingham, Ala.; Oxford, Miss.; and Atlanta.

Applications are available in PDF format online . They also are available at the Carl Fields Center for Equality and Cultural Understanding and the Pace Center.
