Windsor to discuss working for freedom, Oct. 12

The executive director of Freedom House, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that seeks to promote democracy and freedom around the world, will speak at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, in 16 Robertson Hall.
Jennifer Windsor will present a lecture, "Working for Freedom: Democracy and Foreign Assistance," that will be sponsored by the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs .
Windsor joined the U.S. Agency for International Development in 1991, the same year she earned her MPA from the Woodrow Wilson School. Before taking the helm at Freedom House in January 2001, she was director of the USAID's Center for Democracy and Governance.
