The Princeton men's basketball team avenged its only Ivy League loss this season by defeating the University of Pennsylvania, 76-70, in an overtime thriller Tuesday, March 9, in Philadelphia.
The Tigers clinched the Ivy League title three days earlier by defeating Dartmouth and are headed to the NCAA tournament for the 23rd time.
The win over Penn was Princeton's ninth straight victory. The Tigers finished the regular season at 20-7, including a 13-1 record in the Ivy League.
