Ali to present seminar on world order, Feb. 17

A lecture on "Imperial Headaches and World Order" will be presented at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, in 101 McCormick Hall.
Ali is a regular broadcaster on BBC Radio and contributor to magazines and newspapers including The Guardian and the London Review of Books. He has been especially prominent in his commentary on the war on terrorism and the recent Iraq war. His most current work is "Bush in Babylon: The Recolonization of Iraq" (2003). His book of essays, "The Clash of Fundamentalisms: Crusades, Jihads and Modernity," was published in 2002.
