Princeton students honored at model UN conference

Princeton students were honored for their performance at the World Model United Nations Conference, which was held March 27 through April 1 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
Six members of Princeton's International Relations Council , a subsidiary of the American Whig-Cliosophic Society, were among more than 1,000 delegates from universities around the world. Three Princeton students won Diplomacy Awards, which were given to the best delegates in each committee.
Those honored were: junior Katherine Glenn, who served on the International Court of Justice; junior Jenny Tsai, who represented Australia on the Association of South East Asian Nations committee; and sophomore Syon Bhanot, who represented Australia on the United Nations Commission for Human Rights.
Other participants from Princeton included junior Vijay Paradkar, senior Luke Harris and sophomore Sashank Rishyasringa.
