Snow delays opening until 10 a.m. for non-critical staff, Jan. 26

Due to snowfall in the area, Princeton University will open at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, for non-critical support personnel. Critical employees are expected to report at their normal hours, according to Donald Reichling, associate director of public safety.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for central New Jersey into the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 27. Princeton students, staff and faculty members are advised to check the University home page for updates. Campus opening and closing information also is available on the University's weather emergency hotline, (609) 258-SNOW.

The University also maintains an Emergency Preparedness Web site, which includes a link to the Office of Human Resources' emergency weather policy . In addition, the Office of Environmental Health and Safety has posted a cold weather fact sheet for University employees who work outdoors.
