PPPL plans open house, June 12

The Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory will hold an open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 12. The event is free and open to the public.
Visitors can tour fusion machines, see scientific demonstrations, find out about the science behind sports and take part in a host of activities for the family. PPPL Director Rob Goldston will give a talk, "Lighting a Star on Earth," at 12:30 p.m. in the laboratory's auditorium. Free refreshments will be provided.
Funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and managed by Princeton University, the laboratory is a collaborative national center for science and innovation leading to an attractive fusion energy source.
