Films to be screened, April 1-3

The Undergraduate Film Organization will present two films in the coming week.

On Thursday through Saturday, April 1-3, "The Last Samurai" will be shown at 11:15 p.m. in the Frist Film/Performance Theatre. The 2003 film about an American military adviser embracing the Samurai culture was directed by Edward Zwick and stars Tom Cruise. Tickets are $2, and can be obtained at the Frist ticket office.

On Friday, April 2, the UFO will show "The Man Without a Past" at 10:15 p.m. in 101 McCormick. The second part of Aki Kaurismaki's "Finland" trilogy, the 2002 film follows a man who arrives in Helsinki and gets beaten up so severely he develops amnesia. Admission is free.
