Kiplinger looks at U.S. economy, March 29

Financial journalist Knight Kiplinger will discuss "What's Ahead for the U.S. Economy?" at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, in the Whig Hall Senate Chamber.

Kiplinger is editor in chief of Kiplinger's Personal Finance, a leading monthly magazine, and the Kiplinger Letter, a well-known weekly financial publication. He also runs, which provides corporate clients with economic and political forecasts.

Kiplinger appears frequently on television and radio programs to discuss economic topics. Prior to joining the Kiplinger organization, which was founded by his grandfather W.M. Kiplinger in 1920, he spent 13 years as a newspaper journalist in Washington, D.C.

Kiplinger did graduate work at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, which is sponsoring the talk with the American Whig-Cliosophic Society.
