Posted March 12, 2010; 05:29 p.m.
The Council of the Princeton University Community (CPUC) will meet from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday, March 22, in Betts Auditorium, School of Architecture. All members of the campus community are invited to attend.
Agenda items include the introduction of Paul Ominksy, who joined the University earlier this year as director of public safety. In addition, Undergraduate Student Government President Michael Yaroshefsky and others will discuss the survey the USG conducted this fall concerning campus safety.
The meeting also will include a panel discussion by faculty and students on opportunities for intellectual life outside the classroom. Emily Shandley, associate director of University Scheduling, will present one method to communicate those opportunities -- a new Web-based campuswide public events calendar, which is scheduled to go live this spring.
In addition, the council will vote on an amendment to the charter regarding USG and CPUC election procedures.
