A showcase of dance, drama, music, song, spoken-word and other performances focusing on the theme of sacredness is set for 8 p.m. Monday, April 26, in the University Chapel.
"Performing the Sacred" will feature student arts groups and individual performers, faculty members and guest performers. It is intended to celebrate the spiritual diversity at Princeton and to encourage spiritual and religious understanding through the performing arts.
The event is sponsored by the Office of Religious Life, the Fund for Intergroup Collaboration, the Office of the Vice President for Campus Life, the Lewis Center for the Arts, and the departments of music, art and archaeology, and French and Italian.
