Digital Print Center open house set

Print and Mail Services' Digital Print Center will host an open house for faculty, staff and students from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, on the ground floor of 201 Nassau St.
 
The Digital Print Center provides walk-in print and mail services for campus community members, as well as on-site Wi-Fi, a Mac and PC computer cluster, and self-service copying.

At the open house, visitors can learn about the center's on-demand printing, print and mail consulting, and production graphic art services; learn how to receive assistance with print and mail estimations; and review paper samples for posters, waterproof outdoor banners and other print materials. The event also will feature print equipment demonstrations, tours and giveaways. Refreshments will be served.

Sneak preview: New Lewis Center for the Arts to open in one year .

At Princeton University, one "performance" in particular that has been behind the scenes for nearly a decade will make its debut in one year. On the weekend of Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 5-7, 2017, the new Lewis Center for the Arts — a dynamic multi-facility complex that will greatly expand the performance, rehearsal and teaching spaces for the arts — will open its doors and spaces to the University and greater Princeton community.

Campus sustainability efforts progress over summer and into fall .

Anyone strolling through Princeton's campus this fall can see, hear, touch, smell and even taste the University's ongoing sustainability efforts through a range of projects that progressed this summer. The Office of Sustainability, working with various University departments, oversees programs that promote interactive ways to experience Princeton's achievements in conserving resources, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable research and education.
