Faculty members submit resignations

Four faculty members have submitted their resignations.

  • David Blei, associate professor of computer science, to accept a position at Columbia University, effective July 1.
  • Jason Lieb, professor of molecular biology and the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics, has submitted his resignation, effective July 1.
  • Luc Le Nguyen, assistant professor in mathematics, to accept a position at the University of Oxford, effective Feb. 1, 2014.
  • Bhavani Raman, associate professor of history, to accept a position at the University of Toronto, effective July 1.
