University to provide update on 2026 Campus Plan at town meeting Monday

At a public meeting in the town of Princeton on Monday, Sept. 19, Princeton University representatives will provide an update for local officials and residents about the 2026 Campus Plan that is being developed.

The University presentation will be made to the Master Plan Committee of the Princeton Planning Board at 7:30 p.m. in the main meeting room of the Princeton Municipal Building at 400 Witherspoon St. 

The campus plan will establish a framework to guide the evolution of the campus through 2026 and beyond. It is being prepared with the assistance of a team of consulting designers, planners, architects, engineers and analysts.

The plan will encompass most of the lands the University owns and will consider two planning horizons: a 10-year horizon to provide detailed guidance on near-term growth and change, and a 30-year horizon to establish a broader strategy for development of campus over the next generation.

The planning process will include strategies for land use, campus design, landscape, infrastructure, sustainability, and all modes of movement and transportation.
