Bart Hoebel, a Princeton professor of psychology and the Princeton Neuroscience Institute who became internationally known for his research on food addiction, died of cancer Saturday, June 11, in Princeton. He was 76.

1st-year NEU graduate student Megan deBettencourt and 2nd-year NEU graduate student Eran Eldar, who were recently awarded very competitive fellowships. Megan was awarded an NSF Graduate Fellowship, and Eran was awarded a Howard Hughes Medical Institute International Student Research Fellowship. Both of these are fiercely competitive. Megan has just joined the Norman lab, and Eran is a member of the Niv lab.
