University to open at normal hours, Jan. 15

Princeton University will open at normal hours Thursday, Jan. 15, following a light snowfall overnight.

With extremely low temperatures expected through Friday, Jan. 16, the National Weather Service has issued winter weather and wind chill advisories for central New Jersey. University officials continue to monitor the situation.

Princeton students, staff and faculty members are advised to check the University home page for updates. Campus opening and closing information also will be available on the University's weather emergency hotline, (609) 258-SNOW.

The University also maintains an Emergency Preparedness Web site, which includes a link to the Office of Human Resources' emergency weather policy . The Office of Environmental Health and Safety has posted a cold weather fact sheet for University employees who work outdoors.
