Outage will affect computing services

Most campus computing network services will be unavailable from 5 to 7 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, due to scheduled maintenance being performed on all of the core campus routers by the Office of Information Technology.

At varying points in time during the outage, sections of the campus will be unable to connect with all or portions of the Internet. These will include access to the University's main website and all other campus websites both on and off-campus, access to editable Web servers such as the Roxen content management system and blog servers, all e-mail services, central file services and network-based Windows printing. Dormnet also will be offline for a portion of this outage.

The prox door access system will continue to operate, as will telephone services.

In the case of a computing emergency or for more information, contact the help desk at (609) 258-HELP (4357). For a true campus emergency, dial 911 from a land line or (609) 258-3333 from a cell phone.
