FACULTY HONOR: Poor named National Academy of Inventors Fellow

H. Vincent Poor, dean of Princeton University's School of Engineering and Applied Science and the Michael Henry Strater University Professor of Electrical Engineering, has been named a 2015 fellow of the National Academy of Inventors. The honor recognizes academic inventors who hold patents on inventions with "a tangible impact on quality of life, economic development and the welfare of society." Poor was among 168 new fellows nationwide to be nominated and elected. The fellows will be inducted April 15, 2016, during the Fifth Annual Conference of the National Academy of Inventors in Alexandria, Virginia.
