Princeton University’s new biodigester makes food scraps sustainable .
Approximately 50 staff, faculty, students and local officials gathered on Jan. 8 to mark the installation of a new biodigester on Princeton's campus. Come spring, compost produced by the biodigester will be tested as a natural soil improvement on University lawns.
MLK Day program to be held at Arts Council of Princeton .
Princeton University will join with community organizations on Monday, Jan. 21, to support the Arts Council of Princeton’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day community event. The free program includes live music, interactive workshops and discussions relating to King’s life, teachings and civic engagement. Tracy K. Smith, U.S. poet laureate and Princeton faculty member, and Rev. Lukata Mjumbe will speak.
