The Princeton University High Energy Experiment group has an immediate opening for two Postdoctoral Research Associate or more senior associates to work with the CMS experiment. Successful candidates will be expected to participate in the Princeton group's work on luminosity measurement, outer tracker operations, hadronic calorimete operations and/or upgrade work in calorimetry, fast timing, or the outer tracker. Candidates will also carry out physics data analysis on a topice of mutual interest to the candidate and the Princeton group.
Applicants should have a Ph.D., preferably in particle physics and a record that demonstrates the ability to work independently in a research environment. The initial appointment will be for one year, with the possibility of an extension contingent on satisfactory performance.
