Frist open house scheduled for Sept. 14
Princeton NJ — The Frist Campus Center will kick off its fifth anniversary at its annual open house on Wednesday, Sept. 14.
The event will feature a new exhibition on campus life at Princeton, which was organized by staff members from Frist and the University Archives to commemorate the campus center’s first five years of operation.
From 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the 100 level of Frist will feature live music by jazz flugelhornist Gordon James, commemorative gifts, and information tables hosted by organizations based in Frist and elsewhere around campus.
Paul Breitman, the first director of the campus center and now general manager of University Services, will offer a tour of Frist beginning at 12:30 p.m. The International Center will host its own open house in 243 Frist from 4 to 6 p.m.
The event will conclude with a double feature of “Madagascar” and “Mad Hot Ballroom” beginning at 8 p.m. on the south lawn. Free popcorn, ice cream and cotton candy will be available.
