Dan Westervelt

Dan Westervelt is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the STEP program at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He is also an affiliate of NOAA's Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory in the Atmospheric Science group. At STEP, Dan's research will focus on projecting future climate change with emphasis on the impacts of atmospheric aerosols. 
Dan received his Ph.D in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in May 2013. His thesis work was on the topic of global chemical transport modeling of atmospheric aerosols
