Stealthy hyperuniform heterostructures are a novel type of metamaterial that display photonic band gaps (PBG) and isotropy simultaneously. In this project, we have successfully designed, fabricated, and characterized a hole-based stealthy hyperuniform structure on a quantum cascade (QC) layer substrate.
