Cheshire Township is a civil township of Allegan County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,335 at the 2000 census.




According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 36.0 square miles (93.3 km²), of which, 35.0 square miles (90.5 km²) of it is land and 1.1 square miles (2.8 km²) of it (2.97%) is water.
