Curtis Township is a civil township of Alcona County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,378 at the 2000 census.

Curtis Township was organized in 1881 and named for its first settler, E.D. Curtis.[3] There were several lumber camps in the township area around Curtisville.[4]
